Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated:
This policy is part of our Terms of Service. It applies to everyone who uses UniPulse and to everything sent, published or processed through it — including by automations and AI features you configure.
1. Messaging and consent
- Message only people who contacted you first or who gave you the consent the law and the platform require. For WhatsApp, collect opt-in as WhatsApp's Business Messaging Policy requires before sending business-initiated messages.
- Do not send spam, chain messages or bulk unsolicited messages, and do not buy, rent or scrape contact lists to message.
- Honour opt-out, "stop" and block requests immediately and do not message that person again unless they opt back in.
- Follow each platform's messaging rules: the 24-hour customer service window, approved WhatsApp templates for messages outside it, and Messenger message tags only for their approved purposes.
- Do not use messaging data to target people with advertising, or to build profiles of people for anyone else.
2. Accounts, access and data
- Connect only accounts you own or are authorised to manage.
- Do not access, or try to access, accounts, workspaces or data that are not yours, or bypass authentication, roles or plan limits.
- Do not scrape, harvest or bulk-download data from UniPulse or from connected platforms, and do not use UniPulse to collect information about people without their knowledge.
- Do not sell, license or otherwise transfer data obtained from Meta platforms, or use it to make decisions about anyone's eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance or similar.
- Do not share your login or let people outside your organisation use your workspace other than as invited members.
3. Content
Do not use UniPulse to publish, send or store content that:
- is illegal, or promotes illegal goods, services or activity;
- is fraudulent, deceptive or impersonates a person, brand or organisation;
- infringes intellectual property or privacy rights;
- harasses, threatens, or promotes hatred or violence against people;
- sexually exploits or endangers children;
- contains malware, phishing links or other harmful code;
- violates the community standards or advertising and commerce policies of the platform you publish to.
4. Automation and AI
- Configure automations and AI replies so they serve the people you talk to; review them regularly. You are responsible for every message they send.
- Do not use automation to inflate engagement (fake likes, follows, comments or reviews) or to manipulate platform algorithms.
- Where a platform or the law requires it, make it clear to people when they are talking to an automated system and give them a way to reach a human.
- Do not use AI features to generate deceptive content, impersonations or content that breaks section 3.
5. Technical limits and platform rules
- Do not overload, probe or disrupt UniPulse, or circumvent rate limits, quotas or security controls.
- Do not use UniPulse to get around a connected platform's rules, rate limits or enforcement, or to operate accounts a platform has restricted.
- Do not reverse-engineer UniPulse or use it to build a competing product.
- Security research is welcome under the rules on our Security & Trust page.
6. Enforcement
If we find or are told about a breach of this policy, we may — depending on its seriousness — warn you, remove content, pause automations, disconnect a social account, restrict features, or suspend or terminate the workspace or account. We may act immediately where there is spam, fraud, a security threat, a risk to people, or a platform requires it, and we may report illegal activity to the authorities. Platforms may also act against your accounts directly under their own policies.
Reporting abuse and appeals: report misuse of UniPulse, or ask us to review an action we took on your account, by emailing support@unipulse.tech. Tell us the workspace and what happened; we will review it and reply.
