Data Deletion

1. Delete your UniPulse account

How: sign in at app.unipulse.tech, open Settings → Profile, choose Delete account, type your account email (or phone number) and, if your account has one, your password.

What happens, immediately:

  • Every workspace where you are the only member is deleted, with its posts, messages, contacts, analytics and settings (uploaded media files: see section 9).
  • Every Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp connection you authorised is ended: we ask Meta to stop sending its webhooks and withdraw our authorization where no other connection still relies on it, and we delete the access tokens.
  • You are removed from workspaces you share with other people. Their content stays with them.
  • Your name, email address, phone number, password and preferences are erased from your account record, your profile picture is unlinked from it, and every session is signed out.

Before you can delete your account: if you are the only owner of a workspace or company that other people still use, make another member an owner (or delete it) first. If a workspace that would be deleted has a paid plan, any remaining paid time is lost when it is deleted.

2. Delete a workspace

Who: the workspace Owner. How: Settings → Workspace → Delete workspace. A personal workspace is deleted together with your account (section 1).

Deleting a workspace ends all of its social connections (as in section 3) and then permanently deletes its data: posts, inbox conversations and messages, contacts and their AI memories, saved replies and bot settings, analytics and SEO data, automations, store connections and orders, and its billing records. Any remaining paid time is lost. Uploaded media files are handled as described in section 9.

3. Disconnect Facebook or Instagram

Who: a workspace Owner or Admin. How: Settings → Connected Accounts → Manage Accounts, then Disconnect next to the Page or Instagram account.

  • We ask Meta to stop sending that Page's webhooks and withdraw your Facebook authorization for UniPulse — unless another active connection still uses that Page or authorization, in which case we leave it in place so we do not break that connection.
  • The stored access tokens are deleted immediately.
  • Posts, comments and messages already in the workspace stay available to your team, so you keep your history. Delete the workspace (section 2) to remove them.

You can also remove UniPulse from Facebook directly: Facebook → Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites (for Instagram: Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites). Meta then notifies us and we disconnect automatically — see section 5.

4. Disconnect WhatsApp

Who: a workspace Owner or Admin. How: Settings → Connected Accounts → Manage Accounts, then Disconnect next to the WhatsApp number, or Disconnect on the WhatsApp settings page. We unsubscribe UniPulse from your WhatsApp Business Account's webhooks and delete the stored access token immediately. The token itself belongs to your own Meta business, so you can also revoke it in Meta Business Manager. Conversation history stays in the workspace until you delete the workspace.

5. Request deletion from Facebook

If you connected a Facebook Page or Instagram account to UniPulse, you can ask for your data to be deleted without signing in to UniPulse:

  1. In Facebook, open Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites.
  2. Find UniPulse and remove it.
  3. Under Removed, select UniPulse and choose Send request to request data deletion.

Meta forwards the request to UniPulse and shows you a confirmation code and a link to a status page on this site (unipulse.tech/data-deletion/status). We process requests automatically, normally within minutes: every Page and Instagram connection you authorised in any UniPulse workspace is disconnected, its access tokens are deleted, and its remaining identifying details (name, picture, platform ID) are removed.

What is not deleted, and why: posts, comments and conversations that a business received through a Page or account you managed belong to that business's workspace — they are the business's records, not personal data about you — so a request from one Page admin does not erase another business's history. If you want data about you removed from a business's workspace (for example messages you sent to it), contact that business or write to privacy@unipulse.tech.

6. If you cannot sign in

Email privacy@unipulse.tech from the email address on your UniPulse account, with the subject "Account deletion request". If you no longer have access to that email address, tell us your account email or phone number and the names of your workspaces; we will ask you to verify your identity before acting, because deletion cannot be undone.

We anonymise your account and end the connections you authorised, delete the workspaces only you use (or hand a shared one over to another owner you name), and confirm by email. We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days.

7. Deleting an organisation's data

A workspace Owner can delete the whole workspace (section 2). If your organisation uses several workspaces, or an Owner is unavailable, an authorised representative of the organisation can write to privacy@unipulse.tech. We will verify that you are entitled to act for the organisation before deleting anything.

8. If you messaged a business that uses UniPulse

Your messages, name, picture and (for WhatsApp) phone number are stored in that business's workspace so it can reply to you. Ask the business to delete them; it controls that data. If you cannot reach the business, write to privacy@unipulse.tech with the business's name and the account you used, and we will help.

9. What we keep after deletion

DataWhyHow long
An anonymised account record (no name, email, phone or password)Keeps content you created in shared workspaces attributed consistentlyAs long as those workspaces exist
Security audit records (for example "account disconnected", "workspace deleted"), which may include your email addressSecurity, abuse investigation and disputesUntil no longer needed for those purposes
Encrypted database backupsDisaster recoveryUp to 30 days, then the backups containing the data expire
Uploaded and received media files (post media, inbox attachments, profile pictures) of a deleted workspace or accountNot yet removed automatically — they stay at unguessable addresses that are not listed anywhereUntil purged: email privacy@unipulse.tech and we delete them

AI request logsUsage metering and troubleshootingDeleted automatically after 90 days

Backups are used only to restore the service after a failure; we do not restore deleted accounts from them.

10. Checking the status of a request

Self-service deletions (sections 1–4) take effect immediately. For a request sent from Facebook, open the status link Meta gave you, or enter your confirmation code at unipulse.tech/data-deletion/status. For requests by email, reply to our confirmation email or write to privacy@unipulse.tech.
